Marge - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Meet Marge, a voluptuous black and white girl who was surrendered to a nearby county animal shelter because she didn't like the family dog. Marge was stressed by the shelter environment and not doing well.....who could blame her? when Second Chance was asked if we would take her in and we did.

Marge is a great cat. She is super friendly, loves pets and is eager for human affection. So far, she prefers being in a catio rather than out and about in the room even though she is allowed to roam. We think she is finding comfort in this cubby and maybe is not accustomed or likes having so many active roommates. Marge just prefers her own space so we think she would be a wonderful solo pet for someone who wants a couch companion.

Marge would do best with a single adopter, a couple, or a family with older respectful kids. Being your one and only is preferable even though she may get along with one other laid back kitty not looking for a friend. Marge has not been assertive or aggressive, just a bit reclusive with the other cats. We like to think Marge is large and in charge and will honestly make an adopter one awesome companion!

Marge has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Marge has an approximate birthdate of 08/12/2021. Her adoption fee is $95.
