** In order to adopt a kitten from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitten and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You may need to bring the kitten back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay/neuter surgery**
This darling little girl is the adorable, Caroline. This little cutie, her siblings and sweet mom, Nala were brought to the shelter when the kittens were just four weeks old. This sweet crew was in a foster home and have been lucky enough to spend time there until just recently. They are now at the shelter and are ready to pounce right into their loving forever homes!
The adorable crew has an estimated birthdate of 6/30/26, so they're just a few months old. Caroline is a lovable gal, affectionate and the most laid back of her litter. She still loves cuddling as much as possible with her siblings, and of course is almost always ready for kitten tag, wrestling and hide and seek!
Caroline is a huge fan of wand toys and canned food! Keep those two favorites coming in her forever home and you'll have a friend for life! Ideally this little cutie should be adopted with a best friend/sibling. Kittens adopted in pairs do so much better than single kittens. Single kitten syndrome is a real thing and no one wants a Kittenzilla in their home. Kittens adopted in pairs have less behavioral issues, keep each other occupied and entertained, and are happier long-term. Plus you save two lives instead of one! It's the best arrangement possible.
This cute as can be crew gets along great with other animals as there were adult cats, and dogs in their foster home. These cuties love kids too, and really miss the loving child from their foster home. They would love to be adopted into a family with children as they have endless energy for playing and running around. Of course, since they're so small care must be taken to protect them from being unintentionally injured by children or larger animals, or being stepped or sat on.
Would you like to meet this sweet kitten and hopefully a sibling or other HSMC kitten too? If so, please complete an application and then we will call you to schedule a meet and greet once you're approved.
