Meet Teeter!
Teeter is our 2-month-old adventure girl and one of our cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) babies. Her CH is considered very mild-in fact, if you don't catch the occasional little head wobble or moment of unsteady footing, you might not even notice!
And Teeter certainly doesn't notice.
This girl is ACTIVE. She runs, plays, explores and absolutely loves climbing cat trees. Although we should probably mention that Teeter's definition of "cat tree" sometimes includes the nearest available human. Hope you weren't attached to those pants!
She loves toys, loves to play and is as sweet as can be, but she'll need a family-and preferably a playful furry friend-who can keep up with her energy and curiosity.
Even with very mild CH, Teeter's forever family will still need to keep her safety in mind. She should never have access to pools, tubs, open toilets or other bodies of water, and because she thinks she can conquer just about anything, her family may occasionally need to protect her from her own confidence.
CH isn't painful, and for Teeter, it's simply a tiny wobble mixed into one very big personality.
She's sweet, silly, adventurous and ready to climb her way straight into her forever family's heart...possibly using their leg to get there.

All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats over 8 months of age, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need.
