Officially ready for adoption!
Armadilla aka Dilla, our perfectly imperfect little wobbly girl.
She is an approximately 2-year-old who came into our local county shelter in rough shape. Initially suspected to have been hit by a car, she was treated and stabilized, but even once she was "better," she was still wobbly. Dilla has cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), or "wobbly cat syndrome." CH affects balance and coordination, but it is not painful, contagious or progressive. She will simply always be clumsy.
We suspect Dilla was either let outside or snuck out, where a wobbly girl like her simply couldn't keep herself safe. Thankfully, someone found her before things ended much worse. Today Dilla is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative and SO sweet and cuddly. She can live with other animals who are gentle and give her time to adjust, or she'd happily be your only spoiled princess.
Her forever home must understand her wobble is forever and keep her safe which means no dangerous stairs, sharp edges, heights or pool access. Gentle pets and older children are a must.
Dilla doesn't know she's different. She just wants someone to love while she wobbles her way through life.
