Meet Slinky!
Slinky is a beautiful 2-month-old brown tabby little lady with the sweetest personality and just a little extra wobble in her step.
Slinky is one of our cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) babies, but her CH would be considered mild. She can walk, run, play and jump just like the other kittens-she simply does it with a little wobble along the way. And trust us, it doesn't slow her down!
Slinky is our little snuggle bug. Her purr motor has a VERY quick start, she loves being cuddled and she'll even happily accept belly rubs. She has been raised around other cats and dogs and has also been around plenty of children at our events.
Like any CH kitty, Slinky will need a home that keeps her safety in mind. She should never have access to pools, tubs, open toilets or other bodies of water, and stairs should be carefully considered. Grippy flooring, rugs or runners can also help give those slightly wobbly legs some extra traction.
CH isn't painful and doesn't stop Slinky from living a happy, playful, normal life. She just experiences the world with a little extra sway.
Slinky is looking for a family who will give her a safe place to play, plenty of love and, most importantly, a lap where she can fire up that little purr motor and snuggle to her heart's content.

All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats over 8 months of age, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need.
