Luke Skywalker - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania

Luke Skywalker is a gorgeous grey and white kitty who came into foster care with his equally stunning all grey sister, Princess Leia. Luke was very shy and cautious when he first arrived in his foster home -after a few weeks in foster, he continues to warm up and feel more comfortable.

Luke is extremely playful and curious, though a bit less graceful than his sister! He absolutely LOVES wet food, treats (especially Churus), and playtime. He will jump, pounce, roll around, and bat at dangling wand toys and springs. He also enjoys wrestling with his sister. Luke can frequently be heard tumbling around with Leia in their foster room.

After a couple weeks to adjust, Luke will gladly accept pets while he gives you some purrs. Churus and other lickable treats will be your best bet in helping him gain trust and confidence. He can be picked up for brief periods of time, but he is still getting used to the concept! Luke is not into being cuddled or held for long periods just yet.

When he's not running, jumping, playing, or wrestling his sister, Luke loves to snuggle up on a soft pillow or blanket and take a nap. Luke has not met any children and has only sniffed a dog briefly through a pet gate. Due to his more cautious nature, Luke would probably do best in a calm, quiet home with adults and/or older children who will respect his boundaries while he acclimates to his new environment. Luke may be adopted together with his sister, Leia, or separately, as long as he will have a confident, playful cat in his new home.
