Dusty is a fluffy black cat with impossibly soft fur and the sweetest personality. Around here, he's lovingly known as the "fluffy little muppet" - mostly because of his fuzzy face, expressive tail, and the adorable little meows he makes when he wants dinner, treats, or playtime.

Dusty can be shy when meeting new people, but he's a gentle, sensitive boy who responds beautifully to kindness and patience. He feels safest when people approach him at his level instead of towering over him, and once he realizes you're a friend, his sweet personality starts to shine. A few treats or some Churu go a long way toward winning him over.

Once comfortable, Dusty becomes very affectionate. He loves chin rubs and will slowly melt into your hand until he ends in a dramatic full-body flop of happiness. He's also a big fan of back scratches, which reliably activate his "elevator butt" as his fluffy majestic tail waves back and forth in pure contentment.

He's also still a playful kitten at heart and absolutely loves wand toys - especially the little worms. Dusty would do best in a home with another friendly cat to help him feel comfortable and give him a buddy to play with. Dusty is 10.5 months old. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. He's ready to find a patient, loving home where he can feel safe, adored, and fully himself.
