Dot (Photos October 10th 2026) - Domestic Medium Hair Cat for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Dot is an adorable female kitten who was brought to the HSOV on August 1st 2026 by Good Samaritans who found her in Marietta Ohio (Fifth- and Garfield Streets area) along with her siblings (Dip and Spoon). They were estimated to have been 4-month old at that time and appeared to have been fending for themselves for awhile since they were malnourished etc.

Thanks to our compassionate HSOV Kennel Tech/Staff, Dot and her siblings were given plenty of nutritious food, clean water, flea treatment and dewormer (along with daily doses of extra TLC) ... And within a few weeks they were feeling and looking so much better.

Dot has a black medium-haired coat with white spotting/markings on her belly, a long fluffy tail, and a cute face with dark golden eyes, a black velvet nose, nice 'ear furnishings', and long black whiskers. Dot has two extra-long white whiskers mixed in with the black whiskers.

Dot was given vaccinations on August 1st 2026 and received booster vaccines on August 16th 2026.

This little lovebug has a friendly disposition and a quiet, easygoing personality.

Dot has shared a cage with her brother (Dip) and her sister (Spoon), and they have provided a sense of comfort/security for one another.

These photos of Dot were taken on October 10th 2026. She and her siblings are currently sharing a double-wide cage in The Jungle Room where the majority of our adoptable cats are housed. Dot posed like a little princess when we opened the cage door, and she was 'cool calm and collected' while she gazed at the camera lens.

Dot will be spayed in the near future (tentatively on October 12th) and will soon be ready to find her dream home.
