Meet Zeek & Zan — Two Different Switches, One Perfect Pair!

At just 2 months old, brothers Zeek and Zan have already figured out the most important rule of kittenhood: there are exactly two speeds—ON and OFF.

When they're ON, they're busy playing, exploring, climbing, chasing toys, and investigating absolutely everything. When they're OFF, they're sound asleep, usually snuggled up together. There is no dimmer switch. No medium setting. Just full-speed kitten...and nap.

Zeek is the more outgoing of the two. He's playful, social, easygoing, and remarkably unfazed by the world around him. New experience? No big deal. A respectful child picking him up? Apparently also no big deal. Zeek is pretty much ready to see what happens next.

Zan has a little more of a dimmer switch when it comes to confidence. In a new environment, he likes to turn things up gradually—he may hang back or find a safe spot while he figures everything out. But bring out a toy and that caution disappears pretty quickly. His absolute weakness? A feather wand. Once that comes out, all bets are off.

Neither boy has decided that human cuddling is particularly important just yet—they have far too much kitten business to attend to! But they absolutely adore each other and are constantly playing, exploring, and curling up together when their batteries finally run out. We'd love to see these best buddies adopted together.

Zeek and Zan are local Massachusetts intakes and are good with other cats and cat-savvy children who understand that playful kittens are little animals, not stuffed animals. Dogs are still an unknown.

Because they're still tiny, they'll need to return to our vet once they're around 4 lbs for their neuters.

They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only.

Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
