Meet Tommy!
If Tommy could design his perfect day, we're pretty sure it would consist of play, play, a quick nap... and then more play.
This boy absolutely LOVES toys. Wand toys, balls, things to chase — if there's a game happening, Tommy wants in. And playing together is one of the best ways for his humans to connect with him.
Tommy is still building confidence with people and isn't looking to be somebody's lap baby right now. His love language is play, and he'd much rather have you pick up a wand toy than pick him up.
What Tommy really needs is a confident feline buddy. He loves the company of other cats and will benefit tremendously from having a social, playful cat who can lead by example and help him feel secure.
Because he's still young, Tommy must go to a home with a friendly, confident resident cat or be adopted with a confident kitten. Another shy kitten isn't quite what this boy needs — he's looking for a buddy who can show him how it's done.
If your cat has been asking for a playmate — or at least you think that's what all those 3 a.m. zoomies mean — Tommy may be exactly the friend you've been looking for.
Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only.
All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
