Cat by Cat Inc. adopts kittens 4 months (16 weeks) and younger only in pairs or to homes with a cat-friendly resident cat. Some older kittens or cats may also require a feline companion. Young kittens learn critical social skills like boundaries, confidence, play behavior, and bite inhibition from other cats. A feline friend helps them grow into healthy, well-adjusted adults. MEET GOLD — GREGARIOUS, GOOFY & GLUED TO HER PEOPLE!

Gold is an approximately 3-month-old medium-haired tabby who has never heard the phrase “mind your own business.”

Excellent. She would like a full explanation of what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, and whether her assistance will be required.

Gold is an outgoing, confident little girl who genuinely loves being around her people. She follows her foster mom around, happily supervises whatever is happening, and seems to have her purr motor permanently set to ON.

And when Gold wants attention, you won’t have to wonder.

She’ll let you know.

This girl also has some serious kitten energy. Gold loves wrestling with her brother, racing around with her sisters, climbing, chasing toys, and enthusiastically investigating anything that moves.

Unfortunately, your toes fall into that category.

Gold considers moving feet an interactive enrichment activity and may occasionally attempt to join in. She doesn’t hurt—she just apparently believes toes were invented to make playtime more interesting.

Like her tabby siblings, Gold also has an adorable crooked little tail, adding one more quirky detail to a kitten who already has plenty of personality.

When she finally decides she’s done with the day’s running, wrestling, roaming, and ridiculousness, Gold is ready to cash in all that energy for cuddles. She loves snuggling with her foster mom and has very specific plans for her future sleeping arrangements.

Gold would like her adopter to understand that the spot directly beside you in bed has already been reserved.

Personal space negotiations may be submitted for review.

Approval seems unlikely.

Gold also enjoys watching bird videos with her siblings, because apparently after a long day of chasing everything that moves, she likes to unwind by watching things she cannot actually chase.

Gold needs a home with another friendly young cat or kitten who can keep up with her playful personality. She would especially love to be adopted with her brother Platinum, who makes an excellent wrestling and running partner. She could also be adopted with one of her sisters, Copper or Cobalt, or join a home that already has a friendly young feline companion.

Gold has received age-appropriate vaccines and has been treated with topical flea control and dewormer.

FOSTER TO ADOPT: Gold is still too young to be spayed, but she can go home with her adopter while she waits for her spay appointment. Once she’s spayed, her adoption will be finalized.
