Cat by Cat Inc. adopts kittens 4 months (16 weeks) and younger only in pairs or to homes with a cat-friendly resident cat. Some older kittens or cats may also require a feline companion. Young kittens learn critical social skills—like boundaries, confidence, play behavior, and bite inhibition—from other cats. A feline friend helps them grow into healthy, well-adjusted adults. Some kittens wake up every morning and choose chaos.

Brûlée would like to observe the chaos from a comfortable location, thank you very much.

This sweet, gentle little girl absolutely enjoys playing with her siblings — she just believes in knowing when to call it a day. While everyone else is still wrestling, chasing and carrying on, Brûlée is likely to clock out, find a cozy spot and watch the remaining nonsense unfold.

Participate in kitten shenanigans? Yes.

Work overtime? Absolutely not.

Brûlée is also incredibly curious and takes her household surveillance duties VERY seriously. Put something new in the room and Inspector Brûlée is immediately on the case.

She'll carefully investigate anything new, and if her siblings suddenly become interested in something, Brûlée will be right there to see whether the situation requires her attention.

When she does feel like playing, Brûlée loves balls, track toys and anything she can happily bat around. But once recreation time has concluded, she's ready to get back to her real priorities: lounging, observing and receiving affection.

And this girl LOVES her people.

Brûlée will happily curl up in your lap, relax beside you on the couch or simply hang out nearby while you go about your day. Start petting her and the purr motor kicks right in. She doesn't need to monopolize your attention — she just likes knowing her favorite humans are close.

BRÛLÉES DAILY AGENDA:

Inspect anything new that enters the premises

Bat around a few toys

Join sibling shenanigans

Decide sibling shenanigans have gone on long enough

Retire to a perch and supervise

Report to a human lap for cuddles

Activate purr motor

Brûlée would especially enjoy a calmer home with cozy lounging spots, a good perch for household surveillance, interesting things to investigate and humans who appreciate quality couch time.

She's affectionate without being demanding, playful without being a tiny tornado and curious enough to make sure absolutely nothing interesting happens without her knowledge.

If you're looking for a kitten who believes life should contain a little play, a lot of cuddling and absolutely no unnecessary overtime, Brûlée may be your girl.

You provide the lap.
She'll provide the purrs.
And all household activity will be subject to inspection.

Brûlée is around 10 weeks old and she's had her first vaccines, been treated with topical flea control and dewormed.

Brûlée is a Foster to Adopt' kitty which simply means she hasn't been spayed yet, but you can still take her home and love on her until she's ready to be spayed in a few weeks. After she's spayed, she'll be yours to keep, and the adoption will be complete.

Brulee needs a home that has another friendly cat/kitten or better yet, adopt her with one of her siblings Blondie, Chai or Biscotti. Young kittens need a lot of attention and learning from other kitties, it is necessary for their emotional and behavioral development.
