Meet Licorice, a sleek, almost 5-month-old mini house panther with golden eyes, a built-in purr motor, and absolutely no plans whatsoever to become a productive member of society.

Licorice may look like a fearsome jungle predator...

But his résumé tells a different story.

Ambushing innocent toy mice

Making springs vanish without a trace

Wrestling with other cats

Purring immediately upon contact

Looking ridiculously handsome while contributing nothing toward the mortgage

Basically, he's hired.

Licorice loves to play, chase, wrestle, and participate in all the other extremely important activities that fill a kitten's busy schedule. And once his shift at the Chaos Factory is over, he's happy to clock out and enjoy some cuddle time.

He loves other cats and is currently being fostered with a dog, so he's learning that dogs are less terrifying beast and more large, slightly weird roommate.

ABOUT LICORICE
Licorice is almost 5 months old. He has received his first vaccines and has been treated with topical flea prevention and dewormed.

ONE IMPORTANT THING
Licorice needs a home with another friendly cat or kitten. Young kittens learn important social and behavioral skills from other kitties, and Licorice needs someone to help with the essential kitten responsibilities of wrestling, chasing, playing, and plotting living-room domination.

Conveniently, his sister Mabel is also available for adoption!

They are not bonded and do not need to be adopted together, but adopting them both would give you twice the purrs, twice the entertainment, and twice the opportunity to ask, WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING?!

Licorice is currently Foster to Adopt.
That simply means he hasn't been neutered quite yet, but he can still head home with his loving family now! You can take him home and start spoiling him while he waits for his neuter appointment on 9/17/26. Once he's neutered, the adoption will be finalized and he'll officially be yours.
