Butters is a 3-year-old white-faced cockatiel with a gentle personality and a sweet, easygoing nature. Though still a little shy as he settles into foster care, he's been warming up more each day and has already started showing his affectionate side. He enjoys whistling and singing to greet people when they enter the room, and while he isn't especially loud, his cheerful little songs can turn any frown upside-down!
Butters can step up and, once comfortable, seems to enjoy relaxing on a finger or shoulder. He prefers a calm, patient approach and may need a little encouragement to come out of his cage at first, but he's steadily gaining confidence and becoming more curious about spending time with people. He's already making progress by eagerly coming to the side of the cage to say hello and stepping up more readily.
This sweet boy enjoys looking out the window, chatting back and forth with other birds in the home, and chilling on his favorite rope perch. He hasn't shown much interest in toys just yet, but as his confidence grows, his future family may discover new favorite activities with him.
Butters would likely do well in many different home environments, including with first-time bird owners willing to give him time to adjust and continue building trust at his own pace. Darling and full of charm, Butters is a lovely little companion who's ready to blossom in a patient and caring home.
