These sisters were purchased at a swap meet in April 2026 and released into the neighborhood a week later by the parents when their children grew tired of them! We were called in the wrangle and rescue them.

Mariel is all white and you can see she's got a bit of lion head in her heritage with her spikey 'do. Muriel is a hotot mix with the eyeliner around her eyes.

Super sweet! Super friendly! Just the type of social, snuggly buns most people are seeking!

They readily approach for love, attention and treats. Not skittish whatsoever! Are you ready to be flooded with affection?

They have an estimated date of birth of October 2025.

Mariel and Muriel should be housed in an exercise pen or free roam. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is always open and an exercise pen placed around it. (Nylon, pop-up playpens are not recommended as a rabbit will chew right through it!)

Please be over 21 if inquiring about this pair. Our rabbit adoption questionnaire should be completed by someone in the household who is over 21.

Rabbits are a 10+ year commitment.

Mariel and Muriel can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information.

PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you've never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!
