INDOOR ONLY HOMES

Godiva and Doodlebug were rescued April 12, 2026 from a park known for frequent rabbit dumping.

Godiva is the black lion head weighing three pounds. She has an estimated date of birth of November 2025.

Doodlebug is the Himalayan bun with white fur and dark ears, paws and nose. She weighs four pounds but was dumped when a tiny baby of about six weeks old. Her estimated date of birth is March 1, 2026.

They have been housed together here at the rescue or a foster home since being captured at the park.

Godiva is the friendlier of the two rabbits but both are equally deserving of love and a real home after being dumped at a park where rabbits often do not survive.

Godiva may be small, but she fills a huge spot in your heart. Their bond is heartwarming to watch, and they bring out the best in one another each day.

These two are looking for a forever home where they can stay together and continue sharing their incredible bond. If you're searching for twice the love, twice the companionship, and twice the bunny antics, Godiva and Doodlebug may be the perfect pair for you.

Both are spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

They should be housed in an exercise pen at first and then a pen and/or free roam. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is always open and an exercise pen placed around it. (Nylon, pop-up playpens are not recommended as a rabbit will chew right through it!)

Please be over 21 if inquiring about this pair. Our adoption questionnaire should be completed by someone in the household who is 21 years of age or older.

Rabbits are a 10+ year commitment.

Godiva and Doodlebug can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information.

PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you've never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!

If you have a spayed/neutered single bun searching for a friend, there are plenty of rescue rabbits here available for my signature rapid romance bunny bonding. Male/female bondings are usually recommended. See the following link for more information: https://rabbit.org/care/bonding
