Denby was rescued September 19, 2026 from an out of control situation in a residential area.

As of this posting he weighs just under two pounds. We're estimating he was born in July/August.

He is extremely sweet, calm, trusting and loving. He makes a good couch cuddle bun. He chatters his teeth in contentment. He's a fantastic bunny!

He is available on a foster-to-adopt basis until old enough for neuter surgery in November/December.
He would return to the rescue for a day or two for transport to his neuter appointment. After the neuter, the adoption is finalized.

They should be housed in an exercise pen at first and then a pen and/or free roam. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is always open and an exercise pen placed around it. (Nylon, pop-up playpens are not recommended as a rabbit will chew right through it!)

Rabbits are a 10+ year commitment.

Denby can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information.

PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you've never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!
