Kenai was dumped in the parking lot of Pechanga Casino along with three other rabbits. We rescued them as soon as we got the call. He was trusting enough that we were able to grab him by hand.
Sweet Kenai has those gorgeous blue eyes and helicopter ears! His slightly yellowed fur is still molting out from whatever he endured in his prior living situation (being sprayed on). Ultimately, he will have gleaming white fur for you to pet!
Of course he's a sucker for treats and pellets; no surprise!
He might like a female bunny friend if you have one looking for a mate.
He was neutered on September 10, 2026 and he's ready to find his forever home putting his past far behind him!
Kenai should be housed in an exercise pen or free roam. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is always open and an exercise pen placed around it. (Nylon, pop-up playpens are not recommended as a rabbit will chew right through it!)

Rabbits are a 10+ year commitment.
Kenai can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information.
PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you've never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!
