Must adopt with bond mate, Spritz
Hey there! I'm Blossem, the happy-go-lucky white and brown bunny born on November 26th, 2022. My brother, Spritz, and I were lucky enough to be rescued just three days after our fluffy baby bunny debut. Speaking of Spritz, he's not just my sibling; he's my absolute BFF. We come as a dynamic duo, and we insist on being adopted together. Our foster mom decided to name us after Christmas cookies. Can you believe she was baking those sweet treats when we hopped into her life?
Now, let me tell you about my favorite pastime - being irresistibly curious. Imagine me, always on the edge of the pen, eagerly awaiting your arrival. Whether you come bearing treats or just a friendly greeting, I’m there in a heartbeat, ready for a sniff. And guess what? If you decide to lay down in our pen or free roam area, be prepared for us to jump on your back for some quality bonding time.
I love pets and attention but I’m also content to rely on Spritz, too. And while we’d rather have all four feet on the ground, like most buns, we don’t mind being picked up and held from time to time.
Oh, and did I mention my love for treats? Bananas are the best – my foster family gives us a small slice every night! But honestly, I’m not a fussy eater. Oxbow pellets, hay, mixed greens, hay treats — I’m up for it all! I also have a fond love for toys and apple sticks. I never fail to make foster mom chuckle with my antics of playing with my water bowl or stacking cups, it’s just so fun!
I’m the perfect mix of fun and energetic bun along with calm and restful dude. I’m often playing and interacting boisterously with Spritz! We also have calm, affectionate moments where all we want to do is sit and groom and make each other so we look our absolute best! We’re usually so chill – even noises like the vacuum don’t bother us in the slightest.
We are extra special buns and that comes with a couple extra-special traits! Our litter has some history of seizures – both Spritz and I get them every so often. They don’t seem to harm us, and I tend to chill and let the effects wear off after. My foster mom gives us meds to help though, and we don’t mind taking them once we get the hang of the routine (and the small hay treat after!).
Here’s another unique twist - I sport a corneal scar in one eye. It left my right eye a bit cloudy, and I might only see shadows through it. But let me assure you, it doesn't bother me one bit. I continue to zoom around and explore my world with the same zest for life!
When my family isn't around for pets, you can catch me playing, nibbling on chew toys, or chilling next to Spritz. I'm a well-behaved bunny, sticking to my chew toys and steering clear of mischief.
Our foster family has older, respectful children that understand bunny boundaries, and I do great with them. I haven’t been around dogs, so I’m not sure how I’d get along with them, but I get along well with cats. Sometimes if Spritz and I smell other buns around, we tend to mark our space or get a little cranky with each other, because we want to keep our territory ours!
Spritz and I are dreaming of a space to call our own, without any additional bunny roommates, and with a family who will shower us with all the love. If you're on the hunt for friendly, playful bunnies - look no further! We're eagerly awaiting the day we get to meet you and become an integral part of your loving home.

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.
If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
