DESCRIPTION

Hi there! My name is Jukl (joo-kuhl), and if you're looking for a bunny with personality, athletic talent, and plenty of love to give, I might just be your guy.

I'm a Britannia Petite, which basically means I'm a tiny bunny with BIG energy! I love to explore, investigate every corner of my kingdom, and show off my impressive jumping skills. Seriously—I can jump surprisingly high for such a little fellow. When I'm not busy on patrol, you'll often find me tossing my toys around, especially my plastic keys and stacking cups. A bunny's got to stay entertained, after all!

I can be a little cautious when meeting new people. Fast movements aren't really my thing, and I prefer to approach on my own terms. But once I feel comfortable, you'll discover that I'm actually very social. I love climbing on and around my humans to see what they're up to, and when I've decided you're one of my favorite people, I show my affection with lots of bunny kisses. Arms, legs, feet—if I can reach it, I might give it a lick!

I don't enjoy being picked up, but I absolutely enjoy being near my people. My dream home would let me free roam as much as possible and spend lots of time hanging out with my family. I also appreciate the finer things in life, like slow head pets, cozy fleece blankets for naps, and plenty of opportunities to stretch my legs between snoozes.

I'm a very tidy bunny with excellent house manners. I keep most of my business in my litter box, though I occasionally leave a few little poofs around my room just to remind everyone that it's my territory. I rarely miss the litter box when it comes to peeing. Even though I'm not destructive, bunny-proofing is always important to keep curious adventurers like me safe.

When it comes to food, I have excellent taste. I enjoy unlimited timothy hay, orchard grass hay, meadow hay, daily greens, and a measured serving of Oxbow Adult pellets. My favorite special treats include banana, apple, carrot, and dandelion.

I'm very interested in other bunnies and would be a great bonding candidate. I've shown gentle, affectionate behavior and enjoy grooming bunny friends.

I've also been getting more comfortable around dogs and cats. I haven't been tested around children, but because I can be startled by quick movements, I'd likely do best in a calm home that understands bunny body language.

If you're searching for a curious explorer, an athletic entertainer, a gentle groomer, and a loyal little companion who will reward your patience with bunny kisses, I might just be your perfect match!

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.

If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
