DESCRIPTION

Hi there, I’m Birdie! I’m a tall, beautiful girl with a serious appetite—think St. Bernard in bunny form. I’ve got style for days, hopping around with one ear up and one ear down like I’m on my own little runway. People are my favorite: I love hanging out with my foster mom and dad, especially when it means lounging on the floor or curling up on my favorite ottoman!

Exploring is kind of my thing. If there’s something new in the room, I’ll be the first to check it out. Evenings are for zoomies and TV time—I’m the best movie buddy you’ll ever have. I also happen to be a bit of an artist. Cardboard is my canvas, and with a little practice (and strong teeth), I’d be happy to show you how it’s done.

Treats? I love love love them. My top picks are Oxbow Simple Rewards baked treats, especially the apple & banana flavor, and timothy hay blocks. I’m a very clean girl and am fully litter box trained. I get two plates of mixed greens a day (yes, plates—presentation matters), along with Oxbow adult rabbit pellets.

I haven’t chewed anything I shouldn’t in my foster home, so I think I’d do great as a free roam bunny once I’m comfortable and you’re at home. My foster family has two dogs and two cats. We took things slow, but now we all get along pretty well. Honestly, I prefer dogs and cats to other rabbits, but who knows? The perfect bunny friend might change my mind.

One thing to know about me is that I’m a high jumper—I love getting up on desks to hang out or look out the window. It’s one of my favorite spots to chill!

I’m more than just a pretty face. I’m sweet, curious, and full of love. I’m hoping to find a forever home where I can be part of the family, lounge by your side, and show you just how amazing I am.

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.

If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
