Meet Gravel, a little girl from our Down to Earth Litter who is already proving that sometimes the sweetest puppies are the ones who simply go with the flow.

Gravel has that wonderfully easygoing puppy personality that makes you want to scoop her up and keep her close. She's calm, cuddly and perfectly content to be loved on, making her the kind of puppy who can happily settle into your arms and soak up all the attention.

Like her mama, Edwina, Gravel has a gentle, laid-back nature. She isn't looking to make a whole lot of noise or get into mischief — she'd much rather be right there with her people, taking in the world at her own puppy pace.

Gravel and her littermates came into rescue after their mama arrived at the shelter pregnant. Now this little girl is getting her chance to leave that beginning behind and discover what it feels like to grow up surrounded by love.

Gravel will arrive in Pottstown, PA on October 1.

She is available through Foster-to-Adopt, with applications being accepted through September 28. Puppies entering FTA homes can begin their two-week trial once they arrive. MMR supports their care during the trial period — you provide the safe, loving home.

Puppies who do not enter Foster-to-Adopt will go into regular foster homes and will be available to head home with their forever families on or after October 15, 2026.
