Meet Milkbone!
Male Yorkie/Chihuahua/Dachshund Mix Born mid-July 2026
It's hard to imagine a tinier beginning to a rescue story. Milkbone and his two littermates were found tucked inside a milk carton under a bridge, all weighing less than 2 pounds.
Thankfully, their story changed the moment they were found.
Now safe with Take Paws, little Milkbone is getting exactly what he needs: nutritious food, warmth, TLC, and plenty of gentle love. He's still just a tiny baby, but he's already showing us what a sweet little soul he is.
Milkbone appears to be a Yorkie/Chihuahua/Dachshund mix and was born around mid-July. With that combination, there's really no telling exactly what he'll look like when he grows up, but we're fairly certain "ridiculously adorable" will remain one of his defining characteristics.
About Milkbone:

Born mid-July 2026
Currently under 2 pounds
Yorkie/Chihuahua/Dachshund mix
Sweet, tiny, and absolutely precious
Receiving extra nutrition and TLC
Safe in foster care with his littermates
Right now, Milkbone's biggest jobs are eating, growing, playing, sleeping, and learning that humans can be kind. As he gets stronger, his little personality is beginning to emerge, and we can't wait to watch him blossom.
This tiny boy had a pretty uncertain start to life, but that's behind him now. From a milk carton under a bridge to soft blankets and loving arms, Milkbone's next stop should be forever.
If you've got room in your heart for one very tiny puppy who deserves an extra-big helping of love, Milkbone is waiting for you.
