This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Meet your new B.F.F. Honey Comb, an 8-month-old Lab mix, weighing 32.6 pounds (as of 9/18/26). Honey previously lived as a starving stray on the streets of Tennessee, playing her harmonica to win the hearts of passersby. She's excited to make her way to New England and find her fur-ever family band!

This sweet, social girl loves everyone she meets: strangers, dogs, even cats! She hasn't met kids yet but her foster has no doubt she'd be great with them. Why do you think her name is honey?

She's still working on potty training and crates, but has been doing well on a leash. Honey's so smart, she already knows commands like "Sit, go, lay down or go to bed." With a wonderful family by her side, there's nothing she can't do! Except finish a crossword puzzle. Why are they so hard??

The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
