We are a volunteer-run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog.

Meet Stormy!

Stormy is a petite 1 year old Staffie mix weighing 28lbs, and this sweet girl is ready to find her forever family! She is spayed, vaccinated, up to date on preventatives, and fully crate and potty trained.

Once Stormy warms up to you, she is incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than cuddles, kisses, and being loved on. She can be a little shy and unsure in new situations, so slow, calm introductions to new people and places will help her feel comfortable and confident.

Stormy is a medium-to-high energy girl who enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes. She has great social skills, greets other dogs with a happy wagging tail, and is respectful of their boundaries. To avoid any issues with resource guarding we recommend feeding Stormy separately from any other resident dogs.

Stormy is still working on her leash manners and can pull, so continued leash training will be important. She also has a curious prey drive toward squirrels. She has never been around cats, so we don't have any history to share there. We recommend older, dog-savvy children for Stormy.

Stormy can be nervous in the car and prefers the windows closed, but she has no issues with stairs. With continued training, socialization, patience, and plenty of love, we believe Stormy could thrive in just about any household. She also loves to watch dog TV!

This sweet little girl has so much love to give and is ready to find someone who will help her blossom into the confident, happy dog we know she can be.
