Meet Berdie!
Berdie is a 6 to 7 year old Aussie mix weighing 27 pounds, and she is everything you could hope for in a companion. She may be carrying a few extra pounds that shell happily work off with walks and adventures, but what she already has in abundance is a heart full of love. Berdie is incredibly sweet, friendly, and social. She loves meeting new people and has the kind of gentle, loving personality that makes everyone fall in love with her almost instantly.
Berdie has wonderful manners and is an easy dog to have around. She is house trained, crate trained, and sleeps quietly through the night in her crate. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys spending time with her people. She gets along beautifully with the other dogs she has met, happily coexisting without any fuss. While she hasnt been officially tested with cats, we believe her calm, easygoing temperament would do well with slow, proper introductions.
Sadly, Berdie found herself in a shelter after her owners were located and chose not to come back for her. Through no fault of her own, she was left behind, despite being such a loyal and loving dog. Its heartbreaking because Berdie has so much love to give and deserves a family who will never let her wonder if shes wanted again. Shes ready to devote herself completely to the people lucky enough to call her their own.
Berdie is currently being fostered and is ready to start her next chapter. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and will have her health certificate prior to adoption. If youre looking for a small-to-medium-sized companion with an incredible temperament, a loyal heart, and endless love to give, Berdie is ready to become your very best friend.
