Pillsbury is a cute 3-month old female Terrier mix who was brought to the HSOV on October 28th 2026 by a Good Samaritan who found her on Grub Road/Pleasant Ridge Road in Marietta Ohio. Pillsbury was not wearing a collar, and she was not microchipped.
This little sweetheart has a black short-haired coat, a long tail, and an adorable puppy face with dark brown eyes, a slender muzzle, and large semi-erect/floppy ears.
These photos of Pillsbury were taken late in the afternoon on October 28th when HSOV Volunteer Jennie Payton Sherrard assisted Pillsbury with her Petfinder/Adoptapet/Facebook pictures. Pillsbury was full of playful puppy energy and thoroughly enjoyed her 15-minutes of fame. This little playgirl is very lovable and affectionate, and she adores attention.
Pillsbury gets along with other dogs/puppies. She is a 'team player' and loves to romp/play when the 'puppy brigade' enjoys their daily freedom in the lobby.
Pillsbury weighed 15 lbs when she entered our shelter.
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Pillsbury was held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that her family would have the opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership.
Surprisingly, nobody called or came looking for this little lady. We are currently accepting HSOV adoption applications for Pillsbury. She will be spayed before being officially adopted and can be fostered/fostered-to-adopt while she awaits that procedure.
