Hershey (Spayed/Combo Tested) - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Hershey is a beautiful 1-1/2 year old female kitty who was brought to the HSOV on October 29th 2026. Hershey was found in Marietta Ohio. She befriended a wonderful cat-friendly family and came to their home over a two-month period where she enjoyed two meals each day.

Hershey has a black-and-white shorthaired coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, a black heart-shaped mark on her nose, and extra-long white whiskers.

This little beauty eventually made her way into her 'foster family's' home, and they provided this information about Hershey:

"She become a healthy, affectionate (almost a lap kitty). Hersey is talkative, gets along with other cats (no dogs), but will bat and growl at nosy boy cats. She sometimes gets the 'zoomies', can be quite active with jumping on tables, always looking for attention or petting, will play with toy jingle balls, likes to sit by a window perch to look outside. Will respond when calling her name, very talkative. Like belly rubs sometimes. Will hide or run away from a vacuum cleaner or during a thunder storm. Prefers mostly good dry food (e.g., Purina Naturals or Purina One), but likes some canned Fancy Feast grilled tuna. Must be kept indoors, however, she may bolt out an open door."

Her foster family has provided veterinary care for Hershey. She is up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies vaccine), and she has been combo tested (negative for feline leukemia, FIV/Feline Immuno-Deficiency Virus, and Heartworm). Hershey was spayed on July 29th 2026. She currently weighs 10 lbs.

Hershey is currently sharing a triple cat tower in the hallway of our shelter with two other female kitties (Cream Puff and Tempura), and they get along well with each other.

Hershey is looking for a fabulous home with someone as special as her foster family. Please complete an HSOV adoption application if you would like to give this little sweetheart a loving home.
