Babygirl (Spayed & Declawed) (Photos October 17th 2026) - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Babygirl is a beautiful 8-year old female kitty who was brought to HSOV on October 8th 2026 for a heartbreaking reason since her beloved owner had passed away. Babygirl's whole world was turned upside when she lost her home in addition to the person who had loved her.

This lovely girl has a sleek black short-haired coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with large golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers.

Babygirl has a demure, rather shy, disposition and a sweet personality.

Babygirl is currently sharing a triple cat tower in the hallway of our shelter with a beautiful black kitty (Cream Puff) who is an empty-nester so that they will each have a companion to keep them from being lonely .. And they get along well with each other.

These photos of Babygirl were taken on October 17th 2026 in the tower which she is sharing with Cream Puff. Babygirl posed quietly for pictures while the 'paparazzi' carried on a soft/gentle conversation .. And within a few minutes, Babygirl strolled to the front of the tower for attention.

Babygirl has already been spayed. She has also been front-paw declawed. Babygirl weighs approximately 7-8 lbs. Perhaps her 'claim to fame' is that she was trained to wear a harness and would walk on a leash with her owner.

This little sweetheart could leave our shelter immediately with an approved HSOV adoption application. We hope that a special someone will give Babygirl a great home where she will be loved again 24/7.
