Stormy (Neutered & Declawed) (Photos October 25th 2026) (Current - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Stormy is a handsome 7-1/2 year old male kitty who was surrendered by his owner on October 24th 2026 (through no real fault of Stormy) because he tended to get beneath his elderly owner's feet and created a trip hazard. His owner dearly loved Stormy but did not want to risk falling, so he made the difficult decision to let another family/individual give Stormy a loving home.

Stormy has a gray short-haired coat, a long tail, and a beautiful chubby face with emerald green eyes, a gray velvet nose, and long white whiskers.

Stormy was given vaccinations, flea treatment, and Pyrantel wormer on October 25th 2026. He is a big boy who weighed 13 lbs that day.

These photos of Stormy were taken on October 25th 2026 when HSOV Lead Feline Kennel Tech Lauryn Hamilton assisted him with his 'glamour pictures'. Stormy (like many cats) enjoys taking naps in his warm litterbox. Stormy quickly jumped into action when Lauryn tempted him 'good boy treats', and he began prancing around for treats. Stormy posed like a pro and was very enamored with Lauryn (and the treats).

Stormy is good with other cats and also with dogs.

Stormy has already been neutered. He has been front-paw declawed, so he would need to be an exclusive indoor-only kitty.

Stormy would dearly love to find another home asap so that he could enjoy out-of-cage freedom instead of his current small shelter cage .. And he would be ever so happy to be with someone 24/7 who would cherish and spoil him forever and ever.

Note 10/26/2026: Stormy is currently being showcased at WeLovPets (Lafayette Plaza, Marietta Ohio) where he is available for adoption through HSOV. Please stop by that location to meet Stormy in person (and also the fantastic staff at WeLovPets).
