Cheddar Bob (Neutered) (Photos October 15th 2026) - Tabby and Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Cheddar Bob is a magnificent 3-year old male kitty who was brought to the HSOV on August 5th 2026 after he was found on Woodruff Road in the Vincent Ohio area.

This handsome guy has an orange tabby short-haired coat, a long ringed tail, and an awesome chubby face with pale golden/amber-colored eyes, a pink nose, and extra-long white whiskers. Cheddar Bob is a fairly big boy who weighed 10 lbs on August 5th.

Cheddar Bob has a friendly, rather shy, personality. He likes to have his head and ears petted/massaged. Cheddar Bob seems to be good with other cats/kittens.

Cheddar Bob had suffered an injury on his left front leg prior to entering our shelter. He was examined by one of our wonderful local veterinarians who determined that the injury was a result from an old gunshot wound and that the bone was fully calcified around the break. Since the break was fully healed and not causing Cheddar Bob pain, he has adapted to using that leg and an amputation was not necessary.

Cheddar Bob was neutered on August 26th 2026 and was also given rabies vaccine.

These updated photos of Cheddar Bob were taken on October 15th 2026. We know it's hard to believe, but he is even more handsome these days! Cheddar Bob is obviously feeling better since HSOV Lead Feline Kennel Tech Lauryn Hamilton provided an update about him .. Cheddar Bob doesn't like you to 'mess with his stuff' and will smack you with his broken front left leg (smile). Lauryn confided that also included moving his stuff while they clean his cage.

Cheddar Bob is currently in The Jungle Room where the majority of our adoptable cats are housed .. And he is ready to begin interviewing candidates (i.e., adopters) to become his new family.
