Meet Khal!

Khal is a handsome 1-year-old Terrier mix who is ready to start the next chapter of his life with a family of his very own! He’s still a young guy with so much life ahead of him and plenty of love to give. Khal is hoping someone will look past the shelter kennel and see the wonderful companion he has the potential to become.

Khal is heartworm positive, but this diagnosis does not define him or his future. Heartworm disease is treatable with proper veterinary care, and Khal deserves someone who will give him the chance to heal while knowing he is loved. If you’re looking for a deserving young pup to add to your family, Khal is waiting for you!

Khal's $250 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Please email transport@hssm.org for more information on transports!
