Meet Ursula, an 8-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a gentle heart and so much love left to give. This beautiful girl is looking for a family who will appreciate the wonderful companion she is and give her a cozy place to spend her golden years. Ursula would love nothing more than a soft bed, a peaceful home, and someone to call her own.

Ursula is heartworm positive, but that diagnosis doesn't define her or her future. Heartworm disease is treatable with proper veterinary care, and with time and patience, dogs can go on to enjoy happy, healthy lives. Ursula deserves someone willing to look past her age and diagnosis and see the loving, deserving girl underneath. Could you be the forever family she's been waiting for?

Ursula's $250 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Please email transport@hssm.org for more information on transports!
