Meet Towser!

Towser is a handsome 2-year-old Coonhound mix who is ready to find a family to call his own! With his soulful eyes and lovable Hound charm, Towser is hoping someone will look past his kennel and see the wonderful companion waiting to be discovered. He has so much life ahead of him and would love nothing more than a home where he can feel safe, loved, and part of the family.

Towser is heartworm positive, but that diagnosis does not define him or his future. Heartworm disease is treatable with proper veterinary care, and Towser deserves the chance to receive his treatment while surrounded by love. If you're looking for a deserving Hound who just needs someone to believe in him, Towser is ready to meet you!

Towser's $250 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Please email transport@hssm.org for more information on transports!
