Meet Lucky!

Lucky is a 5 year old, 15 lb Havanese who loves snuggles and tail-wagging. She is a former puppy mill mom and is learning what life is like in a loving home.

Lucky is a loving, happy, laid-back girl who loves cozying up on the couch, snuggling with her foster, exploring a nice patch of sunshine, and staying home with her people. She's very affectionate with her foster and would do well with an adopter who loves all the nose kisses and cuddles. However, she is also an independent girl, content to balance cuddle time with personal space.

She is mostly potty trained (no accidents anymore) and crate trained while you're away (though will beg to get in bed overnight). She's a sweet girl and rarely barks aside from seeing dogs on TV. Lucky is still learning to walk on a leash but enjoys exploring a small patch of grass and soaking in the sun. She does not yet have experience with many other pets or children.

Perfect for a family or individual who loves quality time to be together, she'll greet you with a very enthusiastic tail wag and snuggles that will make you never want to leave her side.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
