Ginger X 26-059 - Spaniel and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Little Rock, Arkansas

Ginger is a 4-year-old spaniel mix who is the canine embodiment of an angel! Ginger has had quite a journey to get here: she was found as a stray in the Mojave Desert, ended up in a shelter in Southern California, and was ultimately adopted by a loving family. However, through no fault of her own, she is in need of a new home.

Ginger starts new interactions cautiously curious, but with plenty of pets and love, she becomes a social butterfly! She's past her puppy phase but is still active and loves to play, especially when she has another canine friend. She's also great with kids, making her a good fit for a family.

Ginger is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $300.

Ginger is in the Paws in Prison program, where she receives basic obedience training. She will graduate from Paws in Prison on 9/12/2026. The dogs in this program are provided basic level training under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. So, there will be an adjustment period as they adjust to their new family schedule.

For this reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive his training journal. This journal documents his arrival from the shelter, daily training progress, and interactions with the trainers.
