This is Big Dipper. He looks little right now, but he got his name because when he and his siblings were brought to CARE at about two weeks old, he was visibly the biggest kitten in the litter. Nowadays, he and his brother Orion seem to pass this esteemed title back and forth between them.
Speaking of which, Big Dipper gets along with all of his siblings, but his BFFs are Orion and maybe Aurora. When he's not play-fighting with one of the aforementioned siblings, he's trying to climb the playpen and explore the world around him.
Big Dipper & his siblings will get their second round of vaccinations the week of June 22nd. To protect these kittens from potential illness in the meantime, they cannot have meet-and-greets with potential adopters until late June.
Big Dipper will be fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $150.00
CARE's adoptable pets are specifically evaluated and selected to be family and companion animals. We place them in foster homes where they live in the home environment and become part of the family while awaiting permanent adoption. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside pets and spend lots of time with their families.
If you are interested in meeting Big Dipper or learning more about our adoption process, please submit an adoption application. Thank you!
