Meet Bessie — yes, like the cow… and no, she does not produce milk, though she may steal your heart and your spot on the couch.

Bessie is a puppy Smooth Fox Terrier/Hound mix with a name as charming as her personality. At first glance, you may wonder why such a adorable pup has such a legendary farm-inspired name. Spend five minutes with her, and it makes perfect sense — she has big main-character energy.

This little lady is full of puppy mischief, zoomies, and questionable life choices that somehow always end in laughter. She approaches life with enthusiasm, curiosity, and the confidence of a dog three times her size. If there is a toy to chase, a yard to explore, or a human to charm, Bessie is on the case.

She’s the kind of puppy who can go from wild child to cuddle bug in record time. One minute she’s inventing new games, the next she’s curled up beside you like she’s been your best friend forever.

Bessie is also house-trained and crate-trained, which means she already has a solid foundation for her future family. She will still need basic command training — mostly because she currently believes her own ideas are superior to everyone else’s.

As a young puppy, Bessie is adaptable and can learn to live with cats when introduced properly. She’s still figuring out the world, and she’s ready to soak up all the love and lessons her forever family has to offer.

As a fee-based adoption rescue, we do not operate on monthly support or fund raisers. Our adoption fee is $250, and transport is arranged for post-adoption.
