Yorkshire Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption in Albert Lea, Minnesota

Bucky is a tiny yorkie breeder release that was born April 2025. He's very sweet and very fast and just a little bit shy at first. He will need a refresher course in potty training and he really likes his roommates, so would probably love another small dog in the home or a cat friend. The reason he is a breeder release is because he has a little overbite that is very charming. Bucky would be a great little guy for anyone, but perhaps would do best in a family without little kids - he is such a small dog, he would be easy to accidentally step on him.

All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org

When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition.

Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed.

If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only.
