Shih Tzu Dogs Available for Adoption in Phoenix, Arizona

Nico is a smart, handsome Shih Tzu boy who is about 2 years old. He was found as his owners could not be found. Nico is very lovable and has so much to offer to a new family. He has the typical laid back temperament that the Shih Tzu breed is known for. He is also playful and plays with other dogs as well as his toys. Nico appears to be housetrained as well. He weighs about 12 lbs and he is very good on a leash.

Nico is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will require professional grooming every 6-8 weeks.

Adoption Fee: $400

This fee includes at least one health exam with our veterinarian while in our care, spay/neuter, all vaccinations (including rabies, as age-appropriate), a pre-adoption professional grooming, and a microchip with lifetime registration at no additional cost. Dogs also leave with a new collar and/or harness, leash, and a gift bag that includes, among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble currently fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also help us rescue the next homeless or unwanted dog in need.
