June is a darling sweet and Sassy Shih Tzu mix girl. She gets along with all people and walks well on a leash. She gets along with most other dogs but can exert her dominance with certain dogs. She is smart as a whip and has the typical laid back temperament you would expect with a Shih Tzus. June weighs 10.8 lbs and is estimated to be 2 years old. She is missing an eye but it doesn't slow her down one bit! June would be great as an only dog. She loves playing outside and lounging in the sun.

Like many rescue dogs, we're not sure how well housetrained June is. However, with gentle guidance, consistency, structure, and praise, he should be easy to train.

June is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will require professional grooming every 6-8 weeks.

Adoption Fee: $450

This fee includes at least one health exam with our veterinarian while in our care, spay/neuter, all vaccinations (including rabies, as age-appropriate), a pre-adoption professional grooming, and a microchip with lifetime registration at no additional cost. Dogs also leave with a new collar and/or harness, leash, and a gift bag that includes, among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble currently fed at the rescue.
