Meet Bamboo

A little wobbly... a LOT wonderful.

Bamboo is a 5-year-old Shih Tzu with the sweetest soul and the cutest little wobble you've ever seen. She has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), which means she may be a bit unsteady on her feet-but it doesn't slow her down or stop her from enjoying life one bit. In fact, she's out here playing, chasing balls, and living her best life like nothing ever happened.

She also recently had spleen surgery, and you'd never know it-this girl bounced right back and hasn't missed a beat.

Only accepting applications at this time for applicants who live in the Cape Girardeau/Sikeston, MO area so she can be seen for her follow up by our vet.

What to know about Bamboo:
Sweet, cuddly, and loves her people - lap dog energy all day
Mostly potty trained
Loves toys (especially balls!) and does her best to chase and fetch
Easygoing and gentle
Sleeps best near her people (a dog bed beside you = her dream setup)
Not a fan of stairs-she can maybe handle one, but that's her limit

She does have a few quirks:
She's always thirsty (hydration queen )
She can be a bit picky and doesn't eat much
She may cry a little when kenneled at night-she just prefers being close to her humans

Bamboo is the definition of resilience and love. Her little wobbles just make her that much more special-and once you meet her, you'll wonder how you ever lived without her.
