Soft, sweet, and just a little unsure of the world-Plush is a 6-year-old Miniature Long-Haired Dachshund who is learning that life can be safe, cozy, and full of love.

She recently had her spay and dental (with a couple teeth removed), and she's recovering well-finally starting to eat again and settling into her new routine like a champ.

Plush is a gentle, sensitive girl who can be scared of new things, but we're already seeing her start to come out of her shell. She's had some sweet moments-like soaking up love from a visitor and venturing out onto the deck (with supervision, because this girl might just be a runner and a track star ).

Loves her cozy bed and quiet spaces
Starting to open up and show her personality
Enjoys gentle affection and calm companionship

Things to know:
She can be timid and will need patience and a calm home
Likely needs a secure environment (fenced yard or careful leash handling)
Prefers routine-like her food served in her safe space (her corral)
Not a fan of meds... but she's learning
