Patches O'Houlihan - Shih Tzu and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Houston, Texas

Meet Patches O'Houlihan!
At 11 years young and a perfectly lovable 16.1 pounds, Patches O'Houlihan is a Shih Tzu mix with a heart as big as his name is fancy!
This sweet little gentleman is proof that the best things in life come in small, fluffy packages. Patches is super sweet, quiet, and easygoing. He's good with kids and other dogs, making him a wonderful little companion for a family looking to add some extra love to their home.
Patches is an owner surrender, and now he's hoping for a fresh start with someone who will love him for the rest of his golden years. He's past the puppy shenanigans stage and more interested in being a loyal little buddy than running for president of the Barking Committee.
With his gentle personality and quiet charm, Patches is ready to trade shelter life for cozy naps, soft beds, tasty treats, and a family to call his own.
Could you be Patches' happily-ever-after? He promises to bring the sweetness, the snuggles, and just enough O'Houlihan to keep life interesting!

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
