Smokey Canelo - Lhasa Apso Dog for Adoption in Houston, Texas

Meet Smokey Canelo!
Smokey Canelo is a handsome 3-year-old Lhasa Apso weighing 17 pounds, and he's ready to find his forever family!

This sweet boy is shy, friendly, and gentle. Smokey may take a little time to come out of his shell, but he has a lovely, gentle nature and is looking for someone who will give him the patience and love he needs to feel safe and comfortable.

Smokey seems to do well around both dogs and cats, making him a potentially wonderful companion in a multi-pet home. He has not yet been tested around children, so that is still unknown.

Smokey is heartworm positive, but he has already been treated and it does not affect him currently. He will need to be retested in approximately 9 months as part of his follow-up care.

Now all this sweet boy needs is a family to call his own. Smokey Canelo is ready for his forever home and would love nothing more than a safe, loving place where he can relax, blossom, and be cherished.
