Violet - Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Fort Collins, Colorado

Meet Violet! This fun-loving girl greets each day with enthusiasm and is always ready for her next adventure. Curious, playful, and full of personality, she seems to think every toy, leaf, and shadow is worth investigating. Violet loves other dogs of all sizes and enjoys having canine friends to play with. She's still working on her house training, but she's kennel trained and settles nicely in her crate when it's time to rest.

After she's had a chance to burn off some energy, Violet is more than happy to curl up for cuddles and will happily convince you she's a lap dog. Sweet, goofy, and full of charm, she's sure to keep you smiling with her silly personality.

Violet is a 6-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $400 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Violet is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. She is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home.

The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.

We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)

Please note, adoption applications are processed within 12 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events.

Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
