Meet Fiona, a terrier mix who is small on size but big on heart! This girl can be a little nervous when faced with new people, places, and situations. The world sometimes feels like a very big place for such a little dog, so she appreciates patience, kindness, and gentle encouragement as she learns to feel safe. Her tail is constantly wagging, even when she’s observing from afar. Once Fiona trusts you, her loving personality shines through. She absolutely adores cuddling with her favorite people and enjoys prancing around the yard and darting by for quick kisses. Fiona is also very fond of her kennel, which serves as her safe haven when she needs a little break. Having a cozy space of her own helps her feel secure and gives her the confidence to venture out and explore.
Because Fiona is still gaining confidence, toys are a bit of a mystery to her. She is inexperienced with them and can be unsure or even frightened by them at first. With time, patience, and positive experiences, she may discover that toys can be fun, but for now, she much prefers gentle companionship and cuddles over playtime. Fiona is looking for a calm, understanding home that will give her the time she needs to settle in and build confidence at her own pace. In return, she'll offer unconditional love, loyal friendship, and plenty of sweet snuggles. Watching Fiona grow more comfortable and confident is incredibly rewarding, and the family who gives her that chance will gain a devoted little companion for life. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate dog who just needs a little extra reassurance to shine, Fiona may be the perfect match for you.
Fiona is a 2-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Fiona is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. She is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772 or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned.
Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.
