DESCRIPTION
Doug is everything you could want in a Colorado puppy—adventurous, affectionate, playful, and always ready for fun. Whether he's exploring the backyard, making new friends, or snuggling up after a busy day, Doug approaches life with a happy tail and an even happier heart. This handsome boy is curious, confident, and eager to learn. He loves people, enjoys attention, and is at that wonderful puppy age where every day brings a new adventure.
Doug is also a certified water lover. Give him a backyard kiddie pool and he'll happily spend his time splashing around, cooling off, and showing off his goofy personality. Water, toys, and sunshine? That's Doug's idea of a perfect day.
Speaking of goofy—Doug's signature move is his adorable "frog dog" pose. His favorite way to relax is stretched out flat with both back legs straight behind him like a little frog. It's impossible not to laugh when you catch him sprawled out in one of his signature sploots. Doug is looking for a family who will embrace his playful spirit, continue his training, and include him in all of life's adventures. From hiking trails and camping trips to backyard pool parties and couch cuddles, he's ready to be your loyal companion every step of the way.
Doug is a 3-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $500 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. Doug is also tested with other dogs and children. He has not been tested with cats. He is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772 or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned.
Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information about our organization, please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.
