About Denali
Denali's story started when his mama was found as a pregnant stray in rural south Texas. Thanks to a kind foster who took her in, Denali was born safe and sound in a loving foster home. Now, this sweet, handsome boy is fostered in Happy Valley, Oregon and ready to find his forever family!

Personality & Home Preferences
* Dog Friendly: Yes! Denali absolutely loves other dogs of all ages and sizes. He currently lives with an older resident dog who is teaching him excellent boundaries and doggy manners.
* Kid Friendly: Yes! He adores children, especially if they are ready to play and have plenty of fun dog toys to share.
* Cat Friendly: Selective. Denali is currently fostered with a cat, but he finds them a little too interesting. He will do best in a cat-free home or with a very dog-savvy feline who can hold their own.
* Affection Level: 10/10. He never turns down a good belly rub, a chin scratch, or just hanging out right next to his people.

Training & Habits
* House-Trained: Yes! This smart pup is already house-trained and knows how to use a dog door.
* Crate-Trained: He is crated when his foster family runs errands or when traveling in the car. He isn’t a huge fan of the crate at night and prefers to sleep in his own dog bed.
* Leash & Travel: Denali is an excellent traveler who loves to nap in his crate during road trips. He also walks great on a leash and is always down to explore the great outdoors.
