Sorbet - Australian Shepherd and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Austin, Texas

We rescued Sorbet’s mom from a rural shelter we help when she was still pregnant. Thankfully, one of our wonderful fosters brought her into her home so she would have a safe place to have her babies. Sorbet was born in July, and she has been a good pup. She has completed her veterinary care, so she’s ready to for a forever home.

Sorbet is an affectionate girl, and she loves to be held. She likes to play with other dogs and cats too. She loves kids and has been with children as young as 6. She is learning how to walk on a leash, and is almost house trained.

Sorbet is 11 weeks old and weighs 9 pounds. She is an Australian Shepherd mix, and we think she will be about 35 pounds as an adult. She is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Sorbet can arrive in Chester, VA on 11/7. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt.
